Veteran South Korean defender Yoo Sang Chul headed home a dramatic late equalizer to salvage a point for 10-man Yokohama F. Marinos in a 2-2 draw at home to bottom club Cerezo Osaka in the J. League on Sunday.
Yokohama failed to reclaim top spot in the second-stage but the draw was enough to move it level on 20 points with Tokyo Verdy, which leads the table on goal difference.
In Sunday's other match, Urawa Reds also missed out on a chance to go top after a 0-0 draw at home to Kashiwa Reysol but climbed into third on 19 points ahead of JEF United Ichihara with four matches of the second stage remaining.
