Struggling Kyoto Purple Sanga has signed veteran Dutch striker Regillio Simons on a four-month contract and released former South Korea international midfielder Ko Jong Su, officials of the J. League first division side said Friday.
Simons, 30, who was on loan at Dutch first-division side Willem II Tilburg from NAC Breda last season, passed a trial with Kyoto and could make his debut at home to Nagoya Grampus Eight on Saturday.
