Seibu Lions right-hander Chang Chih-chia left the top team's spring training camp on Saturday citing fatigue and tightness in his legs and will work out with the farm team instead, baseball sources said.

Chang, who joined the Pacific League club in April last year and went 10-4 as a starting pitcher, had not spent a single day in the bullpen since Feb. 26, when the final training session got under way at Haruno, Kochi Prefecture.

"With the way I'm looking now, I can't pitch in a game so there's nothing I can do (about being demoted)," Chang said.
