Brazilian striker Tuto will join Shimizu S-Pulse from fellow J. League first-division side Urawa Reds on a loan deal, Shimizu officials said Saturday.
Shimizu has reached an agreement on the deal with Tuto, who is out of Urawa's plans for the 2003 season after their acquisition of compatriot Edmundo from Tokyo Verdy earlier this month.
The 24-year-old Tuto joined second-division club Frontale Kawasaki in 1999 to begin his career in the J. League.
He moved to FC Tokyo in 2000 and played for Urawa the last two seasons with a total of 34 goals in the top flight.
