The Japan Basketball Association will sack men's national head coach Kenji Yoshida after a string of poor results in international tournaments, basketball sources said Sunday.
The JBA is looking for a foreign coach to take over from the 43-year-old Yoshida, who is also head coach of the Toshiba Red Thunders, ahead of this year's Asian qualifying tournament for the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
