Organizers of the upcoming Winter Asian Games in Aomori Prefecture said Saturday they have asked North Korean sports officials to submit an entry list by next Wednesday.
The organizing committee sent an e-mail and a fax urging North Korea to complete entry procedures by 5 p.m. Wednesday after the country repeatedly delayed the filing of a delegation list for the Feb. 1-8 games.
"We had talks with several authorities concerned and Wednesday will be realistically the last minute in a time frame given to us," said a spokesman for the organizing committee.
