Meanwhile, 14-year-old Ai Fukuhara became the youngest-ever player to earn a national title as she and partner An Konishi won the women's doubles on the final day of the tournament at Tokyo Budokan.
Matsushita beat surprise finalist Kiho 11-5, 11-9, 10-12, 12-10, 3-11, 11-9.
In the women's doubles and Miki House club mate Konishi beat Ayako Shiomi and Ryoko Imasaka 3-0 (12-10, 11-8, 11-6) for the pair's first doubles victory.
