Hiroyuki Fujita pulled away from a crowded leaderboard with a final-round 67 Sunday to win the Asia-Japan Okinawa Open by three shots for his third career tour title.

Fujita completed the rain-shortened 54-hole event at 14-under-par 202 after finishing his second round in the morning in a five-way tie for the lead following the suspension of Saturday's round due to darkness.

Fujita birdied the first three holes of the final round to open up a cushion with a front-nine 33 and back-to-back birdies from the 14th all but sealed his victory in a tournament co-sanctioned by the Asian PGA and the Japan Golf Tour Organization.

After Thursday's thunderstorm canceled one round, the total purse and the winner's paycheck were cut to 75 million yen and 15 million yen, respectively.
