Maki Tabata won her fifth straight title at the Speedskating National Championships by posting rink record times in all four women's races, capping the feat with victories in the 1,500 and 5,000 meters Sunday.

Tabata, winner of the 500 and 3,000 meters Saturday, topped the overall standings with 172.554 points at Nagane rink in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture.

Tabata clocked 2 minutes, 4.95 seconds to win the 1,500 -- her specialty distance -- and 7:41.21 in the 5,000. High school student Eriko Ishino, second in the 3,000 and 5,000, was runnerup overall.

In men's action, Takahiro Nozaki maintained his overnight lead and won his first-ever national crown with 161.719 points. Meiji University's Kazuaki Kobayashi followed in second.
