The agent of pitcher Takashi Saito on Saturday held talks with officials of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the second major league club to talk with him following the Braves.
Saito's agent revealed that Los Angeles, whose current roster includes Japanese pitchers Hideo Nomo and Kazuhisa Ishii, has watched the 32-year-old right-hander closely for a few years and evaluates him highly.
