Japan striker Atsushi Yanagisawa scored a first-half goal to send the Kashima Antlers on their way to a 2-0 win at Gamba Osaka in the J. League first division on Saturday.
Yanagisawa put the defending league champions and newly crowned Nabisco Cup winners in front a minute before the interval following good work from national teammate Akira Narahashi.
Brazilian striker Euller sealed the win with a second on 66 minutes to move Kashima on to 23 points from 12 games, two behind leader Jubilo Iwata, which hosts Kashiwa Reysol on Sunday.
