Ticket for the Toyota Cup match on Dec. 3 between European champion Real Madrid of Spain and South American champion Olimpia of Paraguay will begin at 10 a.m. on Oct. 27 at major ticket outlets, organizers announced Wednesday in Tokyo.
The annual match to decide the No. 1 club team in the world will kick off at 7:15 p.m. at International Stadium Yokohama under new rules -- the same system which has been introduced to the final of the European Champions League this year.
If the two teams are tied after 90 minutes, they will play a 15-minute extra time. If they are still even after that, another 15 minutes will be played. If still deadlocked after 120 minutes, a penalty shootout will decide the winner.
On Oct. 27, ticket bookings will accepted only through the Internet or by telephone.
Tickets will be sold over the counter at shops only if tickets are still left following first-day sales.
For details on ticket sales, call the Toyota Cup Ticket Office at (03) 3251-0600. For wheelchair users, contact Kanagawa Prefectural Football Association at (0466) 45-4545.
