Osamu Hamanaka drove home the go-ahead run with a two-run triple and Kei Igawa got his first win since July 30 as the Hanshin Tigers rallied to beat the Yomiuri Giants 3-2 for the second straight night on Wednesday.

Hamanaka's triple ignited a three-run rally in the fifth inning and Shinjiro Hiyama followed with an RBI off Junya Sakai (1-2), who was given his first career start the day after Yomiuri clinched the Central League pennant.

Hanshin starter Trey Moore allowed one run in 4-plus innings and Igawa (12-9) worked the final four innings against a lethargic Giants offense playing with hangovers from their title celebration that lasted until dawn.
