Struggling J. League first division side Consadole Sapporo, mired deep in the relegation zone, fired Yugoslav manager Radmilo Ivancevic on Tuesday.

South Korean assistant coach Chang Woe Ryong will take over from the 52-year-old Ivancevic, who is the second coaching casualty at the Hokkaido club this season following the dismissal of Tetsuji Hashiratani in June.

Sapporo finished last in the first stage and currently has just one point in three second-stage games. It has seven points over two stages and is in the cellar of the relegation standings for the 16-team top flight, of which two go down.
