A pre-match practice session for the J. League's East and West All-Star teams will be open to the fans on Friday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Saitama Stadium 2002. Admission to the practice session will be free to all visitors.
The All-Star teams feature 10 of Japan's World Cup players, including Tsuneyasu Miyamoto of Gamba Osaka -- who received the most All-Star votes from fans -- and Jubilo Iwata star players Hiroshi Nanami and Naohiro Takahara.
Kyoto Purple Sanga midfielder Park Ji Sung, who played for South Korea in the World Cup, and Tokyo Verdy forward Edmundo as well as Urawa Reds speedy forward Emerson are the only foreign players selected for the All-Star match.
The match is to kick off at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the same venue. Tickets for the match are sold out. For information, call the All-Star Soccer Information Dial at (03) 5206-5122.
