Japan will host Argentina on Nov. 20 at Tokyo's National Stadium in its first friendly after the World Cup, and its first under new coach Zico, the Japan Football Association said Tuesday.
The game will be a night game and further details, including ticket sales information, will be announced later.
The JFA also announced that Japan's World Cup players pocketed 10 million yen per head for reaching the last 16 after an additional 2.5 million yen was added as "a special bonus from the JFA president."
The JFA has also decided to hire Takeo Hirata as the new executive managing director. Hirata, 42, works for the Agency of Natural Resources and Energy and helped with Japan's 2002 World Cup bid.
