MATSUYAMA, Ehime Pref. -- It turned out to be another great night for Kansai baseball.
Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes starting pitcher Jeremy Powell allowed one hit in two scoreless innings and teammate Tetsuya Matoyama went 2-for-3 Saturday night as the Pacific League defeated the Central League 4-2 in the second game of this year's All-Star series.
"I'm really proud to be named the game MVP with all these other great All-Star players," said Matoyama after picking up his 2 million yen prize after the game at Matsuyama's Botchan Stadium.
