Japanese challengers Kengo Nagashima and Manabu Fukushima will get their shots at World Boxing Council (WBC) championship titles in late August when both fight at Ryogoku Kokugikan, Japanese boxing sources said Wednesday.
Nagashima, the WBC's second-ranked challenger in the super featherweight division, will take on former world champion Sirimongkol Singmanassuk of Thailand on Aug. 24 for the vacant title.
Fukushima, meanwhile, will fight interim champion Oscar Larios of Mexico on the same day for the WBC super bantamweight crown.
