OSAKA -- "It will be a historic day for Japanese soccer," Japan coach Philippe Troussier said Thursday ahead of his team's third and final game in Group H against Tunisia, on Friday at Osaka Nagai Stadium.
"It's an important game to decide who qualifies for the elimination round. All of our players know that," Troussier told reporters at his team's hotel in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture.
"Tunisia is good enough to get through the round, technically, tactically and physically. They are a team to be weary of and all of our team are aware of that, too."
