Former Australian test player Dean Jones will be making a flying visit to Japan this weekend for a dinner and coaching session at the Yokohama Country and Athletic Club.

Jones, who played 52 tests for Australia averaging 46.55 and 164 one-day internationals averaging 44.61, will be a guest of the Japan Cricket Association which is promoting the game in Japan and whose past guests have included Jeff Thomson and Allan Border.

The dinner, talk show and memorabilia auction will be held on May 4 starting at 6 pm.

The coaching clinic will start at 10 am on May 5 and will culminate in a 15-over, 10-a-side indoor game with Jones.
