Keiichi Yabu allowed four hits and struck out six over the distance to pick up his first shutout victory in two years as the Hanshin Tigers blanked the Chunichi Dragons 4-0 Tuesday at Koshien Stadium.
Yabu earned his fourth straight win and moved into a tie for the Central League lead with a 4-0 mark.
Shinjiro Hiyama hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first inning and Osamu Hamanaka nailed a solo home run in the fourth for a 2-0 lead.
