Daisuke Matsuzaka pitched his second complete game of the year Tuesday, scattering five hits and striking out 11 for his fourth win against no losses as he lifted the Seibu Lions over the Daiei Hawks 4-2 at the Fukuoka Dome.
With the game tied 1-1 in the sixth inning, Hawks outfielder Pedro Valdez hit a go-ahead solo homer off Matsuzaka.
In the seventh, Seibu tied the game on Kazuhiro Wada's RBI double and went ahead for good on Ken Suzuki's two-run single up the middle.
