Kazuhiro Wada, who hit the winning homer in Seibu's 2-1 win Friday, belted a two-run homer in the ninth off Hawks closer Rodney Pedraza to send the game into extra innings.

Tatsuya Shindo doubled home a pair of runs and scored twice and Orix saddled Chiba Lotte with its 11th straight loss with a win at Green Stadium Kobe.

Orix lefty Koo Dae Sung gave up five hits and four walks over six innings and allowed Lotte to load the bases in the first and fourth, but escaped unscathed for the win.

Lotte manager Koji Yamamoto took Derrick May (batting .125) and Frank Bolick (two hits in 31 at-bats) out of the lineup to shake up the hapless Marines.

Norihiro Nakamura, Nigel Wilson and Tuffy Rhodes all connected for two-run homers as Kintetsu romped over Nippon Ham at the Osaka Dome.
