Japan coach Philippe Troussier believes Parma midfielder Hidetoshi Nakata has proved he can adjust to the group ethic he has drilled into the national team.

Nakata scored his first goal in a Japan shirt since last June, steering his side to a 2-0 victory away at Poland on Wednesday, but Troussier said it was Nakata's ability to blend back into the team that had most impressed him.

"I'm very satisfied (with Nakata) because today he played into the teamwork and also I think the teamwork is now very good for him," the 47-year-old Frenchman said.

"Of course, everybody says he is a good creator. He is not a creator, he just respects the way we have worked for four years on movement and communication," Troussier said.
