It was time for a little payback.
The Kokudo Bunnies got a pair of goals from Toshiyuki Sakai and Chris Yule on Thursday afternoon at Higashi-Fushimi Ice Arena as they skated to a 6-2 win over Seibu in Game 2 of the Japan Ice Hockey League finals.
With Kokudo's victory, the best-of-five series is knotted at a game apiece. Game 3 is on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shin-Yokohama Ice Arena. Game 4 is slated for Sunday afternoon, also at Shin-Yokohama, with Game 5 back at Higashi-Fushimi on Tuesday, if necessary.
