Tour veteran Kiyoshi Murota shot a third-round 68 Saturday to put himself in position to win the Token Corp. Cup, taking a one-stroke lead into the final round of the season-opening event on the Japan Tour.

Murota, who ended a seven-year victory drought at the Casio World Open last November, moved to an 11-under 205 total at Kedoin G.C.

Hirofumi Miyase matched the day's low round with a 66 and vaulted into second place at 10-under 206 for a tie with Taiwan's Chen Tze-chung.
