Juri Takishita produced the fastest times in both runs Wednesday to win her first slalom title in two years and third overall at the Alpine Skiing National Championships for technical events.
Takishita of Nihon University, silver medalist in the combined event at last year's Winter University Games in Poland, clocked a two-run total of 1 minute, 41.09 seconds to add to the two victories she claimed at the National Collegiate Championships in January.
Nihon University teammate Hiromi Yumoto finished runnerup more than two seconds behind in 1:43.35 and Reina Umehara, winner of Monday's giant slalom, took third in 1:43.80.
