Kyoto Purple Sanga has acquired former Australia defender Ned Zelic from TSV 1860 Munich, the J. League Division One club announced Sunday.
Zelic played for Australia 33 times, including the 1994 and 1998 World Cup qualifiers. The 30-year-old played for German sides Borussia Dortmund in 1992-95 and Eintracht Frankfurt in 1996.
