IBUSUKI, Kagoshima Pref. -- Tokyo Verdy 1969 midfielder Atsuhiro Miura and Avispa Fukuoka forward Yoshiteru Yamashita have withdrawn from the ongoing Japan national team training camp being held here due to injury, Japan Football Association officials announced Wednesday.
Miura is having trouble with a nagging shin injury, which had forced him to train separately from other team members the past two days.
Yamashita is still being bothered by an injured left hamstring.
The two players flew home Wednesday afternoon, following Jubilo Iwata midfielder Hiroshi Nanami, who left camp Tuesday to continue rehabilitation for a knee injury. (Kumi Kinohara)
