Noriko Hamaguchi scored 13 of her 26 points in the final quarter Sunday as the defending champion Japan Energy Sunflowers crushed the Chanson V-Magic 86-59 in the women's final for their 11th title of the national basketball championships.

Ryoko Yano hit a key three-pointer in the third quarter to help Japan Energy seize control of the game at Yoyogi No. 2 Gymnasium before Hamaguchi's efforts dashed Chanson's hopes of winning a league and national championship double for a second straight season.

Captain Kahori Kawakami added 20 points in the 13th consecutive final between the archrivals and 16th overall in championship history.
