Kashima Antlers coach Toninho Cerezo has been named as the Asian Football Confederation's Manager of the Month for December after leading his side to a second successive J. League title.
After last year guiding Kashima to an unprecedented domestic treble in his first season in charge, the 46-year-old Brazilian guided the Antlers to a second straight J. League title with a 3-2 aggregate win over first-stage champion Jubilo Iwata in the two-leg championship play-off.
