Recently relegated Avispa Fukuoka has sacked Argentine manager Nestor Omar Piccoli, club president Kazuhiro Tomoike said Thursday.
The Argentine joined the club as a youth coach five years ago and took over as manager before the start of last season. He was fired after his side was relegated from the First Division.
In other news, Jubilo Iwata has offered $500,000 for an 11-month lease of Brazilian striker Magrao.
Jubilo has placed the offer through a Brazilian agent who is currently in Saudi Arabia negotiating other Brazilian players, an official with Botafogo Football Club said.
