Kyoko Oh, wife of Daiei Hawks manager Sadaharu Oh, died of stomach cancer at a Tokyo hospital on Tuesday night, her family said.
She was 57. Kyoko, a Tokyo native, married Sadaharu Oh in 1966 when he was with the Yomiuri Giants and gave birth to three daughters.
Sadaharu Oh is the all-time home run leader in Japanese baseball with 868 career homers.
