BUSAN, South Korea -- Cohost Japan has drawn a place in Group H with Belgium, Russia and Tunisia for the first round of next year's World Cup finals, which will take place in both Japan and South Korea.
Japan will kick off its campaign against Belgium on June 4 at Saitama Stadium, and then move to Yokohama five days later to face Russia. The final Group H game for Japan will be against Tunisia at Nagai Stadium in Osaka on June 14.
France, the previous champions, will play the first match of the tournament on May 31 against Senegal in Seoul, after the opening ceremony. The World Cup final takes place in Yokohama on June 30
