Olympic champion Yugoslavia rebounded from an opening-day loss to shut out host Japan with a 25-15, 25-18, 25-17 victory Wednesday while Cuba and Brazil preserved their unbeaten records at the World Grand Champions Cup in men's volleyball.

Ivan Miljkovic scored 19 points, including seven block points, and Slobodan Boskan had 11 at Nagoya Rainbow Hall as the Yugoslavs took full advantage of their height to hand Japan its first defeat in the six-team tournament.

Hiroyuki Kai, whose 21 points led Japan to a full-set victory over Argentina on Tuesday, was limited to just nine points -- the most for Japan -- before 8,800 home fans. Earlier Cuba defeated Asian champion South Korea 25-17, 25-17, 25-22 for its second straight victory.

Defending champion Brazil found no difficulty carrying on its undefeated campaign by overpowering winless wild card Argentina 25-16, 25-15, 25-7 in just 57 minutes.
