Sweden's Annika Sorenstam overcame an early four-hole deficit to scratch out a 1-up victory over Pak Se Ri of South Korea on Sunday in the final of the Cisco World Ladies Match Play championship.

Sorenstam spotted Pak a four-hole advantage over the first six holes of the final at the Sosei Country Club, but stormed back by winning four straight holes from No. 8 and clinching the winner on No. 15.

"It was an incredible comeback. It (being down four) was obviously not the position I wanted to be in and I felt that I was not playing my best, Sorenstam said after her win, adding that Pak's bogey on No. 8 was the turning point of the final.

"I was 2-over after four holes and I knew that I could play better, so I did," the world's top female golfer said.
