Money-rankings leader Yuri Fudo celebrated her 25th birthday, by winning the Fujistu Ladies golf tournament Sunday thanks to a 4-under-par 68 in the final round and a little bit of help from Lady Luck.

Teeing off one shot off the pace, Fudo carded five birdies against a lone bogey at Tokyu 700 Club but it was a late collapse by defending champion Michie Oba that enabled last season's earnings queen to claim her fourth win of the season.

Fudo pocketed the winner's check of 10.8 million yen to widen her gap at the top of the Japan LPGA money-rankings list by clinching the 11th victory of her career with a 54-hole total of 13-under 203 -- one shot ahead of Oba.
