OSAKA -- If you were hoping to get your hands on tickets for the Japan Series, you might be out of luck -- even if you are pals with the manager.

Tickets for the first two games of the series, which kicks off at Osaka Dome on Oct. 20, sold out within a few hours after going on sale Saturday. Getting tickets for the sixth and seventh games might be equally as difficult, even if you have some pull with the pros.

"People I know are asking me for tickets and it's difficult because I have to turn them down. I feel bad about it, but what can I do?," said Kintetsu Buffaloes' manager Masataka Nashida.
