OSAKA -- Cerezo Osaka midfielder Masaya Nishitani will be sidelined for around one month because of an ankle injury sustained during a J. League match, officials of the first-division side said Sunday.
Nishitani damaged ligaments in his right ankle during the first half of Cerezo's 2-0 loss at home to Nagoya Grampus Eight on Saturday and was told by doctors that he will need four weeks to fully recover from the injury.
