Luxury ticket packages for World Cup games to be played in Japan next year, called "Prestige Program," will go on sale on Wednesday, the Japanese World Cup Organizing Committee announced Tuesday in Tokyo.
The program has two categories -- the Prestige Package and the Sky Box Package, both of which offer gifts, food and drinks in addition to a game ticket.
A total of 63,000 tickets will be available for the Prestige Package while the Sky Box Package has 20 boxes from four different venues.
In the Prestige Package, there are two kinds of categories, Gold and Silver, with the price ranging from 210,000 yen (Silver, with three first-round games) to 1,520,000 yen (Gold, with four matches including the final, a semifinal and two Japan matches).
The Prestige and Sky Box Packages will first be sold to tournament sponsors (from Sept. 5-28) and then to public companies/organizations (from Sept. 20-27) on a first-come-first-served basis. The Prestige Package can also be purchased by individuals starting Oct. 9 (details will be announced in early October).
For more ticket information, contact the World Cup Prestige Program Office at (03) 3237-5740.
FIFA will handle the overseas sales of the Prestige Program.
