Tadahito Iguchi smacked a two-run homer and starter Keizaburo Tanoue won his 10th decision as the Pacific League-leading Daiei Hawks defeated the Kintetsu Buffaloes 5-2 Saturday at the Fokuoka Dome.
The Hawks won their third game in a row and extended their lead over the second-place Buffaloes, who are in the midstof a five-game losing skid.
Iguchi's third-inning two-run shot gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead.
