Hideki Matsui of the Yomiuri Giants drove in five runs including a pair of two-run homers on Friday night, carrying the Giants to a 7-1 victory over the Yakult Swallows at the Tokyo Dome.
With the win, Yomiuri tied with Yakult on winning games (54), but stays behind the Central League leader on winning percentage.
Matsui singled home a run in the first inning with runners on first and third and one out.
