The Urawa Reds have agreed to a deal with Kawasaki Frontale for Brazilian striker Emerson, the J. League first division side announced Wednesday.
The 19-year-old forward, who will wear the No. 36 shirt for Urawa, has signed a contract through the end of January next year.
All-Star roster change
J. League All-Star players Jubilo Iwata midfielder Hiroshi Nanami and Avispa Fukuoka defender Takashi Hirashima were replaced by midfielders Toshita Fujita of Jubilo and Daisuke Nakahara of Avispa, respectively, the J. League announced on Wednesday ahead of Saturday's game. Nanami was short of match fitness and Hirashima had an injury.
Tickets for the one-off event at Toyoda Stadium in Aichi Prefecture are sold out.
Hiroyama to stay
JEF United Ichihara has agreed to the extension of midfielder Nozomu Hiroyama's loan deal with Paraguayan League club Cerro Portano, the J. League club announced Wednesday.
Hiroyama, 23, had been on loan to Cerro since February and his initial contract expired on July 31, however, it was agreed that the loan agreement be extended by five months.
