Overnight leader Toru Suzuki made five birdies on his way to a 67 Saturday to extend his advantage to three shots after the third round of the Aiful Cup golf tournament.
Suzuki, whose only bogey this week at the Ajigasawa Kogen Golf Club was on the 17th hole in the first round, moved to 17-under 199 with Lin Keng-chi from Taiwan, Takenori Hiraishi and Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng in a tie for second at 202.
Amanuma takes lead
KITAHIROSHIMA, Hokkaido (Kyodo) Chieko Amanuma shot a 4-under-par 68 Saturday to open up a four-stroke lead after two rounds of the Toyo Suisan Ladies Hokkaido golf tournament.
Amanuma has a 4-under 140 total and leads Kaori Harada, Toshimi Kimura and Akane Oshiro, who are tied for second at even-par 144.
