Keiichiro Fukabori birdied the final three holes of regulation and then beat Masashi "Jumbo" Ozaki in a playoff Sunday to win the Juken Sangyo Open for his fifth career victory.

Fukabori parred the first extra hole of the Hiroshima Country Club Happommatsu Course to edge Ozaki after both finished tied at 13-under-par 203 following three rounds in a tournament shortened to 54 holes when heavy downpours canceled play on Friday.

In the playoff, Ozaki, who had waited for about an hour at the clubhouse, appeared to have lost his rhythm as he failed to hit the 18th green in two and allowed Fukabori to retain his Juken Sangyo Open title with a routine putt for par.
