World No. 1 Tiger Woods and Japan's Shigeki Maruyama will play an exhibition match in November, while Karrie Webb and Annika Sorenstam will be featured in a skins match in October, organizers said Tuesday.
The Woods-Maruyama match will be held at the Fuji Excellent Club Owashi golf course in Mie Prefecture on Nov. 12, two weeks after LPGA stars Webb and Sorenstam team up with Japanese players in a pairs skins match at the Nanzan Country Club in Aichi Prefecture on Oct. 30. The made-for-TV matches will be sponsored by the Nagoya-based Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting Co.
