Kazuhiro Kiyohara belted a grand slam home run in the first inning and connected for a two-run shot in the sixth as the Yomiuri Giants rolled to a 7-4 win over the Yakult Swallows in a key Central League game Tuesday.
Yomiuri starter Darrell May (6-3) scattered eight hits over seven-plus innings at Jingu Stadium for the win, while Tsuyoshi Jobe fanned four in the final two innings for his sixth save.
Yoshinobu Takahashi added a solo shot for the Giants.
