"Are you from Japan?"
A voice in Japanese came from the back shortly after I stepped into the World Cup information center in downtown Seoul last month. It was a Korean woman who works as a volunteer there.
The Seoul City-run information center, which opened Dec. 29 last year, has a total of 25 Japanese, English and Chinese-speaking volunteers, who work on shifts in addition to six regular civil servants from City Hall.
