With none out, Hirosawa lined a single off Hideki Okajima to deep center at Koshien Stadium as the Tigers, held hitless by Yomiuri right-hander Koji Uehara through seven innings, won their fourth straight game for the second time this season and have won seven of their last eight.
Hirosawa's RBI hit made a winner of veteran reliever Atsunori Ito (5-2).
Uehara (5-3) was charged with the loss after taking a no-hitter into the eighth. He allowed three hits in 8-plus innings while striking out seven and walking three.
