Kazuhiro Kiyohara swung the big bat for Yomiuri, slamming three homers in three consecutive at-bats and driving home nine runs to help the Giants beat the lowly Hanshin Tigers 15-10 in a nine-homer slugfest at the Tokyo Dome on Saturday.
Kiyohara drilled a three-run homer in the third inning off Hanshin starter Buddy Carlyle (4-4), then hit two more -- a three-run homer and a two-run clout -- for his 12th and 13th homers off rookie reliever Masashi Date.
Tigers cleanup Ivan Cruz also ripped three homers, including a solo homer in Hanshin's ninth-inning four-run burst off Giants reliever Tsuyoshi Jobe (4-5).
